Botanical Beauty

‘Botanical Beauty’ is a photographic project focusing on how botany is incorporated into the home, and the effects that it has on interior design.

Botany is brought into a home to give it a greener, more modern aesthetic, but it has become more significant than this over previous years.

After visiting dozens of homes, I have observed multiple similarities in terms of plant owners, their homes and how they start to decorate around their plants.

Plants have become a signature piece in which the home has began to revolve around. They’ve inspired new trends, whilst they’ve also become increasingly popular for air purification and various health benefits.

In this project, I explore the uses of plants, how they inspire people, their homes and how important they are to individuals.
